Description
A Longaberger J.W. Collection 1994 Edition umbrella basket featuring hand-woven wood splint construction in a tapered cylindrical form. The body is detailed with two dark-stained horizontal bands, a matching top rim, and a base band. A brass-toned metal identification plaque is secured to the upper rim and is engraved with the text Longaberger, J.W. Collection, 1994 Edition, and UMBRELLA BASKET. This basket is accompanied by its original cardboard shipping box, which features printed markings identifying the item as a LONGABERGER J.W. COLLECTION Umbrella Basket 1994 EDITION.
Condition report:
The basket is in good overall condition with surface dust present throughout the wood splint weave. The metal identification plaque shows surface oxidation and light scratches. The original cardboard box exhibits wear, creases, and discoloration consistent with age and storage.
