Description
A set of clear glass tumblers featuring black and gold-tone enameled graphics commemorating industrial safety achievements from 1957 to 1959. Each tumbler is decorated with a printed gold-tone circular logo reading CONSOLIDATION COAL CO. surrounding a stylized H with HANNA above an OHIO COALS banner, alongside illustrations of THE MOUNTAINEER shovel and HANNA COAL CO. trucks.
Condition report:
The set exhibits significant rubbing, fading, and loss to the gold-tone enameled logos and circular accents throughout (photos 1, 2, and 4). Minor loss and wear are present on the black transfer graphics, including the machinery illustrations and the date inscriptions near the base (photos 3, 5, and 6).
