Description
A pair of porcelain decorative plates produced by the Edwin M. Knowles China Company for the Field Puppies collection, issued under the sponsorship of the United Kennel Club. The reverse of each plate bears a circular printed mark reading Edwin M. Knowles CHINA COMPANY, along with hand-lettered plate numbers and the printed titles Caught in the Act – The Golden Retriever and Shirt Tales – The Cocker Spaniel.
Condition report:
No visible faults are evident in photographs (photos 1, 2, 3). Both the porcelain and transfer prints appear in excellent condition.
