Description
Lidded iridescent blue carnival glass compote featuring relief grape and leaf motifs and an acorn-shaped finial. The underside of the base bears a raised mark consisting of a capital C inside a circle (Photo 5); this mark is not legible as a manufacturer name.
Condition report:
The item is in good vintage condition. Minor roughness and small fleabites are visible along the interior flange of the lid (Photo 4). The foot rim shows minor shelf wear and light surface scratches.
