Description
Japanese Nippon porcelain vase featuring three scroll feet and dual-sided hand-painted decoration of roses and a mountain landscape with raised gold moriage detailing. A green printed mark on the underside depicts a central M within a diamond-shaped wreath, surrounded by the text HAND PAINTED and MADE IN NIPPON.
Condition report:
Visible wear to the gold gilding on the rim and feet (photo 1). A small chip is located on the edge of the rim (photo 3). The interior contains dried organic debris and shows a faint surface line on the base (photo 3). Surface grime is present on the underside (photo 4).
