Description
A collection of hand-painted ceramic bird figurines produced by makers including Napcoware and Andrea by Sadek, featuring North American game and songbirds in realistic glazes. Markings include a printed NAPCOWARE mark with a National Potteries Co. foil sticker reading MADE IN JAPAN, a hand-inscribed Prairie Chicken by Andrea with a yellow ANDREA SADEK label, a blue-stamped Goldfinch B4037, and a TAIWAN sticker beneath a three-circle logo containing U, C, and one illegible character.
Condition report:
A small chip is visible on the right wingtip of the small turkey figure in the lower-left foreground (Photo 1, 2). The items exhibit minor surface dust and light shelf wear to the undersides of the bases.
