Description
A lidded honey-amber glass candy dish in the ‘Coin’ pattern. The circular bowl features a scalloped rim and a series of frosted medallions depicting various motifs including the Liberty Bell and a profile dated 1887. The matching domed lid is finished with a faceted finial featuring a frosted eagle and sunburst.
Condition report:
The item is in good condition with no visible chips or cracks to the scalloped edges or the finial (Photos 1, 2, 5, 6). The frosted decoration is well-preserved and shows no significant rubbing. Minor surface marks consistent with age are visible on the underside of the base.
