Description
Produced for Avon, this two-piece pressed ruby red glass and stainless steel cake service set features the 1876 Cape Cod pattern. The pedestal stand is embossed © AVON on the base (photo 6) and the server blade is etched BLADE MADE EXCLUSIVELY FOR AVON BY Regent Sheffield STAINLESS ENGLAND (photo 4).
Condition report:
The ruby red glass components are in good condition with no visible chips or cracks. The stainless steel blade shows significant surface scuffing, spotting, and minor pitting consistent with use (photo 4).
