Art Deco blanket chest by Lane featuring book-matched burl walnut veneers and a red cedar-lined interior. The interior lid bears a black printed logo featuring a stylized landscape above a cartouche reading LANE, Altavista, Va., REG. U.S. PAT. OFF.
Condition report:
Minor surface abrasions and small nicks are present on the exterior, mostly along the base edges (photo 1). The interior is clean and well-preserved (photo 2).
