Description
American pedestal-style oak desk featuring a tambour roll-top that opens to a fitted interior of pigeonholes and small drawers. The lower section comprises two pedestals with six drawers featuring integral carved wooden pulls, and a rectangular brass plate is affixed above the center lap drawer with illegible characters.
Condition report:
Moderate surface wear is visible, including scratches and scuffing to the writing surface (photo 1). The finish shows wear and minor discoloration at the base of the pedestals and along the upper edges (photo 2). The tambour remains intact and seated in its tracks (photo 2).
