Description
Solid knotty pine display cabinet featuring a large glass-paneled upper door and a lower storage compartment. The upper section contains adjustable glass shelves and is fitted with three brass-toned barrel hinges. The lower base section consists of two cupboard doors, each decorated with an arched panel depicting mallard ducks in flight over a marshland. The hardware includes white ceramic bullseye knobs with black centers and brass-toned lock cylinders on both sections. The cabinet is finished with a traditional crown molding and a tiered plinth base. A small red paper tag is visible at the base of the lower left door. No manufacturer marks or signatures were identified.
Condition report:
The piece is in good condition with minor surface wear. Light scuffs and shallow scratches are present on the wood finish, particularly around the base and door frames (Photos 4, 5). The glass panel shows moderate dust and light cleaning streaks (Photos 2, 3). Some tarnish is visible on the brass hinges (Photo 7). Dust and minor cobwebs have accumulated in the recessed moldings (Photo 4).
