Description
A trio of glazed ceramic bird figurines comprising two roosters on naturalistic fence bases and one mallard duck in a forward-leaning pose. The pieces feature polychrome hand-painted decoration including red combs and wattles on the roosters and a characteristic green head on the mallard. No maker marks or signatures are present.
Condition report:
All three figurines exhibit paint loss and small chips along the edges of the ceramic bases (photo 1). The rooster on the right shows a significant chip to the front edge of its base, exposing the white ceramic body underneath (photo 3). General surface wear and minor production imperfections are visible throughout the lot.
