Description

Late 19th-century Early American Pattern Glass (EAPG) kerosene lamp featuring a pressed clear glass font with a molded Greek Key pattern and pedestal base. The lamp includes a metal burner assembly with illegible raised characters on the thumbwheel; a small red mark is present on the bottom edge of the square base.


Condition report:

Overall good antique condition. The interior of the glass font displays heavy amber staining and residue from previous use (photo 1). The metal burner assembly shows significant oxidation and surface patina consistent with age (photo 1). A small spot of red pigment is located on the edge of the base (photo 1).
