Description
Art Deco satin-finished opalescent glass compote featuring a nude female caryatid stem and shell-form bowl. The underside of the bowl bears faint hand-painted characters reading FAA above the figure’s hands, and the interior is decorated with a central floral spray.
Condition report:
Rubbing and wear to the gold gilt on the rim and the figure\'s hair (photos 1, 3). Small dark surface marks on the base (photo 1) and faint scratches in the white field of the bowl interior (photo 2).
