Description
Mid-century caramel slag glass lidded compote produced by Imperial Glass Company featuring a square pedestal form and a spread-wing eagle finial. An interior gold-toned rectangular adhesive label reads CARAMEL SLAG END O’DAY GLASS by IMPERIAL, and a molded monogram of a capital I superimposed over a capital G appears on the underside of the lid.
Condition report:
Excellent condition with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs. A small dark surface smudge is visible on one corner of the bowl rim (Photo 6).
