Description
A pair of white milk glass chargers featuring high-relief rose and foliage decoration finished with polychrome hand-painted enamel and gilded scalloped rims. A molded rose device is centered on the underside of each base within the foot ring, which is not legible as a name.
Condition report:
The hand-painted enamel on the floral elements remains glossy and vibrant (photo 1). There is minor, age-appropriate wear to the gilded finish on the scalloped edges (photo 1). The reverse shows thinning and irregular application of the gold-tone paint on the raised design (photo 2). No chips, cracks, or repairs are visible.
