Description
A modern Taiwanese decorative katana featuring a 440 stainless steel blade with an acid-etched hamon and an intricately molded resin dragon-motif hilt. The brass-toned habaki displays a raised shield crest containing a stylized letter G and the blade is stamped 440 STAINLESS STEEL and TAIWAN.
Condition report:
Minor surface scuffing and insertion marks are visible on the blade (photo 5). Gray adhesive residue is present on the red scabbard near the throat (photo 4), and minor oxidation appears on the metal fittings (photo 3).
