Description
Seated cowboy musician figurine produced by Universal Statuary Corp in Chicago. The piece is constructed from cold-painted cast composite material textured to resemble carved wood and bears an embossed mark on the base reading Universal © Statuary 1984 Corp. CHI ILL with a faint incised number 112 (Photo 5).
Condition report:
The figurine is in very good condition with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs. Minor surface wear and slight paint loss are visible on high textured points and along the lower edge of the base (Photo 1, 5).
