Description
Hand-carved and painted wooden drake bluebill duck decoy by Tom Pellis, featuring a tucked head with green iridescence and fine vermiculation. The natural wood base is hand-inscribed THIS DECOY MADE FOR MY OHIO FRIEND ED WITHOUT YOU IT COULD NOT BE DONE BY TOM PELLIS and signed by the artist next to a feather illustration dated 2010 (photo 4).
Condition report:
The decoy is in excellent original condition with minor surface scuffs to the black paint on the breast (photo 1) and light surface dust throughout (photo 2).
