Description
A hand-carved sandstone millstone featuring a square central aperture. This utilitarian piece shows a rough-textured surface consistent with early agricultural or industrial grinding processes.
Condition report:
Significant weathered wear consistent with outdoor exposure is visible. Heavy erosion and chipping appear along the outer circumference and the edges of the central square hole (photo 1), with surface discoloration and organic staining throughout (photo 2).
