Description
A pair of mallard duck figurines produced by the Imperial Glass Company in marbled caramel slag glass. The pieces retain original square orange foil labels reading CARAMEL SLAG END O’DAY GLASS by IMPERIAL, with the horizontal bird bearing an additional white paper label identifying the model as NO – 9/2 MALLARD C/SLAG.
Condition report:
Both figurines are in excellent condition with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs. A small, circular vent hole is present near the wing tip of the upright bird as part of the manufacturing process (photo 3), and the undersides of the bases show minor shelf wear and adhesive residue (photos 6 and 7).
