8.27.26 AUGUST ANTIQUE & GLASS AUCTION
Lot 383:
Description
A circular divided relish dish manufactured from green uranium glass. The interior is divided into four equal compartments by integrated glass walls. The underside of the dish features molded radial panels that extend from the rim and converge at the center, where they meet a molded starburst motif. The rim is finished with a continuous scalloped edge. Under ultraviolet light, the glass exhibits a vivid neon green fluorescence, indicating the presence of uranium as a coloring agent. No maker marks or signatures are visible on the piece.
Condition report:
The dish is in good vintage condition with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs. Minor factory-original inclusions, including small air bubbles and minute dark specks, are present within the glass. Light surface grime is present, consistent with age.
