Occupied Japan porcelain dragonware tea set featuring hand-applied moriage decoration and orange luster interiors. This collection comprises one lidded teapot, one lidded sugar bowl, one creamer pitcher, four teacups, four saucers, four small plates, and one serving plate, all bearing the black stamped MADE IN OCCUPIED JAPAN mark on the underside.
Condition report:
The teapot spout is significantly chipped and broken at the tip. Minor wear to the gold gilding and surface dust consistent with age are present throughout.
