Description
A collection of nine glazed porcelain figurines produced in Occupied Japan, depicting women in 18th-century style dress with underglaze blue and overglaze polychrome decoration. A blue ink stamp on the underside of the base reads MADE IN OCCUPIED JAPAN, dating the pieces to the 1945-1952 period.
Condition report:
The collection is in good overall condition with minor surface wear and light soil on the unglazed bases. No chips, cracks, or repairs are visible.
