6.25.26 JUNE ANTIQUE & GLASS AUCTION
Lot 63:
Description
This is a shallow, circular bowl crafted from blue opalescent glass, featuring the classic hobnail pattern of raised, rounded studs. The bowl exhibits a milky white opalescence along the scalloped, ruffled rim and at the tips of the hobs, which contrasts with the translucent light blue glass body. It is supported by a short, integral ring pedestal base. The interior base of the bowl contains a molded maker’s mark consisting of an oval frame surrounding the name Fenton in cursive script. A small number 8 is embossed within the oval above the name, identifying the piece as a product of the Fenton Art Glass Company from the 1980s.
Condition report:
The item is in good condition with no observed chips, cracks, or restorations. The glass retains its original luster and clarity.
