Description
Attributed to Fenton Art Glass, this is a vintage American fan-shaped vase in the Blue Opalescent Hobnail pattern. The piece is crafted from glass that transitions from a translucent light blue base to a milky white opalescent finish along the flattened top rim. It features the signature hobnail pattern characterized by rows of raised, rounded protrusions. The vessel is supported by a short, waisted stem on a circular pedestal foot. A molded oval mark is located on the top surface of the foot, though the characters within the oval are not clearly legible. This combination of form, color, and pattern is highly characteristic of Fenton Art Glass production.
Condition report:
The item is in good vintage condition with no visible chips, cracks, or significant abrasions. There is a small area of yellowish surface residue or a minor manufacturing cooling mark on the upper interior rim.
