6.25.26 JUNE ANTIQUE & GLASS AUCTION
Lot 469:
Description
This collectible bell is made of custard glass, which is an opaque, creamy yellow-toned glass with a smooth satin finish. The exterior features a detailed wrap-around transfer-print decal of the iconic Budweiser Clydesdale eight-horse hitch pulling a traditional red beer wagon. On the side of the wagon, the name Budweiser is visible in script, accompanied by a registered trademark symbol. The bell has a rounded body that transitions through a faceted shoulder into a simple, tapering handle. Based on market consensus and identical visual matches, this item is attributed to Fenton Art Glass, produced as part of a promotional line for Anheuser-Busch circa 1983.
Height: approximately 5.5 to 6 inches.
Condition report:
The bell is in fair to good condition. There is visible yellowish-brown staining and surface residue, particularly around the faceted shoulder and the lower rim. The transfer decal remains clear and largely intact. There are no chips, cracks, or evidence of repair visible.
