Description

This figurine is crafted from pressed uranium glass, which presents as a transparent light green under natural light and exhibits a vivid neon green fluorescence when exposed to ultraviolet light. The subject is a young boy in a wide-brimmed hat and overalls, standing on a textured, grassy base adjacent to a small tree stump. The piece is marked on the underside of the base with an embossed copyright symbol followed by the year 1976. Also present on the bottom is the embossed maker mark for the Imperial Glass Corporation, depicting a stylized eagle head in profile facing right. This specific trademark was utilized during the company ownership by Lenox, Inc. (1972-1981).

Condition report:

The figurine is in excellent vintage condition. No chips, cracks, or structural repairs are evident. The glass maintains high clarity and the embossed details are crisp. Very minor shelf wear is present on the resting surface of the base.
