This set consists of three graduated apothecary-style canisters made of vibrant avocado green pressed glass. The jars feature square-shaped bodies with rounded shoulders and matching fitted glass lids. Each lid is topped with a rounded finial decorated with a molded thumbprint or dimple pattern encircling the base. This design is highly characteristic of mid-century American kitchenware from the 1960s and 1970s and is attributed to the L.E. Smith Glass Company. The pieces are formed via a pressing process, showing visible mold seams and uniform coloration. No manufacturer marks or signatures were identified on the items.
Condition report:
The set is in good vintage condition. Minor surface wear and light scuffing on the bases are consistent with age and normal use. No significant cracks, chips, or repairs are visible.
