Description
This size 8 cast iron skillet was produced by the Wapak Hollow Ware Company of Wapakoneta, Ohio, active circa 1903 to 1926. The skillet features a circular body with dual pour spouts and a reinforced heat ring on the base. The underside is marked with incised vertical block letters reading WAPAK on the left side and the size number 8 on the right side. The handle is cast as a single piece with the body and terminates in a teardrop-shaped hanging hole.
Diameter: approximately 10.5 inches.
Condition report:
Good antique condition with a dark, seasoned patina. The interior cooking surface is smooth with minor signs of use. The exterior shows light carbon buildup and typical surface wear consistent with age. A small casting pit is visible on the center of the exterior base. No cracks or repairs are present.
