Description

This item is a figural glass bell manufactured by the Imperial Glass Corporation. The bell is molded in the form of a woman, traditionally identified as a Southern Belle or Colonial Lady, wearing a wide-brimmed hat and a multi-tiered ruffled gown that serves as the body of the bell. It is executed in caramel slag glass, featuring variegated, opaque swirls of cream, tan, and dark brown. An embossed manufacturer mark is visible near the lower edge of the skirt, consisting of a stylized monogram with the letters ALIG, where the letter I is superimposed over the letter G. This mark signifies the piece was produced during the Lorch ownership period of the company, dating between 1981 and 1984.

Condition report:

The figurine is in excellent condition. There are no visible chips, cracks, or surface abrasions. The glossy finish is well-preserved throughout.
