Description
This vintage electric table lamp is designed in the style of a traditional hurricane or student lamp. The piece features a fluted, tiered pedestal base and a matching dome shade, both crafted from white milk glass. The central font is made of translucent green glass featuring a molded interior thumbprint pattern. The lamp is joined by brass-toned metal fittings and houses a clear glass chimney that rests within the flared rim of the milk glass shade. The unit is powered by a standard brown two-prong electrical cord. No maker marks, labels, or signatures were identified on the glass or metal components during inspection.
Condition report:
The lamp is in good vintage condition. The white milk glass, green glass font, and clear glass chimney are free of visible chips, cracks, or significant scratches. The brass-toned metal hardware shows minor surface oxidation and a light patina consistent with age and use. The electrical functionality has not been tested, and as with all vintage lighting, inspection or rewiring by a qualified professional is recommended prior to use.
