Description
This lot features two vintage molded plastic horse figurines manufactured by the Breyer Molding Co. The first figurine is a Tennessee Walking Horse, based on the Midnight Sun mold, finished in a brown and white pinto coat pattern and depicted in a walking gait. The second figurine is an Arabian stallion in a reddish-brown bay color with white Appaloosa-style spotting on the hindquarters, modeled in a prancing pose with a high-carried tail. The pinto horse bears an incised circular manufacturer mark on the inner rear leg with the text Breyer Molding Co. surrounding a central horseshoe symbol.
Condition report:
Both figurines show signs of age and play wear. The pinto horse has some accumulated surface dust and minor scuffing. The bay Appaloosa stallion exhibits significant paint loss and rubbing, particularly on the white-spotted areas of the left flank and hindquarters. No original boxes or packaging are included.
