Description
This collection features vintage adhesive decals for Wolf’s Head Motor Oil, manufactured by the York Tape and Label Corporation of York, Pennsylvania. Each rectangular decal is printed on a white background with a pressure-sensitive adhesive backing. The graphic design includes a red stylized wolf head logo centered over diagonal black and white sections. The text WOLF’S HEAD and MOTOR OIL is printed in bold black sans-serif typeface. The upper border features the brand slogan FINEST OF THE FINE SINCE 1879 in red. The bottom margin contains manufacturer marks and application instructions reading Bend At Cut and Peel – A Product of York Tape and Label Corporation.
Condition report:
The decals are in New Old Stock (NOS) and unused condition. There is noticeable age-related toning and yellowing to the white backing liners. The red and black printing remains vibrant and the edges are clean and sharp.
