Description
vintage and antique glassware and ceramics, encompassing souvenir items, kitchenware, and decorative objects. The assortment includes nine white glazed ceramic mugs featuring a single blue band at the rim and a printed blue anchor motif on the body. Seven ruby-stained or flashed glass items are present, consisting of six small stemmed glasses and one souvenir mug with gold-tone script reading Ester and 1907. Glass containers include one clear glass Mason jar embossed with Kerr and Self Sealing marks, and one half-pint milk bottle embossed for The Cambridge Dairy Co. Cambridge. Additional glass items include a clear glass measuring jigger with embossed increments for tea and table spoons (1, 2, 4, 6, 8), and two small clear medicine bottles, one square and one round. The collection also features a stylized pressed glass penguin figurine in a pale green tint and two small Japanese ceramic cups decorated with polychrome floral patterns of peonies and chrysanthemums. These ceramic cups include rectangular panels with vertical Japanese character marks.
Condition report:
Items are in overall good vintage condition. The glass bottles show typical interior cloudiness and minor residue consistent with age. Significant crazing is visible on the glaze of the two Japanese ceramic cups. No major chips or cracks are noted upon visual inspection.
