Description
A set of seven whimsical folk art style shelf sitter figurines attributed to WMG. Each piece is constructed from hand-painted cast resin with a matte, distressed finish intended to mimic an antique appearance. The figurines feature various farm animals and pets emerging from stylized, vintage-inspired spice and condiment containers. The set includes a chicken in a green Mrs. Murphy’s Poultry Seasoning tin, a pig in a round blue Maes Mustard Powder tin, a cow in a red Henry’s Beef Tenderizer tin, a horse in a teal Early Morning Paprika tin, a dog in a blue Emerald Iodized Salt tin, a sheep in a round yellow Bahman’s Rosemary tin, and a goat in a red Willowville Celery Salt tin. The limbs are attached to the main bodies with wire or thin cord to allow for a seated position with legs dangling over a shelf edge.
Condition report:
The collection is in good overall condition with no visible chips, cracks, or structural repairs. The paint shows intentional \"shabby chic\" distressing and weathering consistent with the manufactured folk art style. The articulated limbs remain securely attached.
