Description
This is a vintage Coca-Cola metal advertising sign, likely used as a shelf or counter-top display. The sign is constructed from painted metal and features a rectangular face with the Enjoy Coca-Cola logo and white dynamic ribbon device set against a red background. The lower edge is bent at a 90-degree angle to form a mounting flange with four pre-drilled holes for installation. The text Trade-mark ® is printed below the main logo. There are faint, handwritten names Dan and Peggy visible in the upper left corner of the sign face. This graphic style was utilized by the Coca-Cola Company beginning in late 1969.
Condition report:
The item is in as-found vintage condition with heavy wear and oxidation. Significant surface rust is present, particularly across the mounting flange and the central white ribbon. The red painted surface shows extensive pitting, scratching, and fading. The metal display exhibits some warping and bending consistent with age and use.
