Description
A cast iron saucepot accompanied by its matching lid. The pot is constructed with an integrated long handle and features a small pouring spout integrated into the rim. The lid is domed in shape with a central loop handle for lifting. The underside of the vessel is marked in raised relief with the word TAIWAN in an arc, followed by the phrase MADE IN and the size designation 8 INCH. This item represents a mass-produced piece of cookware imported into the United States market during the mid-to-late 20th century.

Condition report:
Both the pot and lid show extensive surface oxidation, heavy rust, charring, and pitting across all surfaces. It will require thorough cleaning and re-seasoning before any functional use.
