Description
This contemporary hand-painted ceramic figurine depicts a stylized seated cat with a raised tail. The piece is constructed from ceramic with a matte finish and features a gradient color scheme transitioning from vibrant purple at the base to deep black on the head, ears, and tail. The cat face is detailed with large yellow eyes, black pupils, and long, thin eyelashes. Hand-painted decorative motifs include a black fuzzy creature on the hip wearing a yellow witch hat with red accents, white web-like line work across the back, and yellow dots on the tail creating a starry effect. The unglazed base features a handwritten inscription in blue ink reading Mhibbe 2023 #2/9.
Condition report:
The figurine is in excellent condition. There are no visible chips, cracks, repairs, or signs of wear to the painted surface.
