Description
A two-piece pressed glass covered dish produced by The Longaberger Company. The item is manufactured from translucent pink glass. The lid is molded in the form of a nesting hen featuring detailed feathering, a prominent comb, and a fanned tail. The base is an oval bowl with a molded basketweave pattern on the exterior and a beaded upper rim. The bottom of the interior base is embossed with the markings THE LONGABERGER COMPANY and HANDCRAFTED IN THE USA.
Length: Approximately 7 – 8 inches.
Condition report:
This item is in excellent condition. No chips, cracks, or repairs are visible. The rims of both the lid and the base appear smooth and free of fleabites or significant wear. The glass retains a clear, consistent color.
