Description
An assortment of ceramic items comprising a hen on nest tureen base, a matching lid, a ladle, and a decorative egg. The set is attributed to Secla, Portugal, based on visual correspondence with known models.
Condition report:
The set shows signs of wear consistent with age and use. There is a visible chip on the outer rim of the cobalt blue basket base, exposing the earthenware body. A small chip is present on the tip of the chick beak on the lid. Minor glaze imperfections, surface scratches, and kiln-related pitting are present. No other cracks or professional repairs are noted.
