This cobalt blue pressed glass covered pedestal bowl, also known as a trinket dish or compote, is attributed to Hofbauer in the Byrdes pattern.
Condition report:
The item appears to be in good vintage condition. No significant chips, cracks, or repairs were observed on the body, lid, bird finial, or ruffled edges. The cobalt blue color is consistent throughout the piece. Minor manufacturing imperfections such as small bubbles or straw marks, common in pressed glass from this period, may be present.
