Description
This lot consists of an assortment of vintage natural fur pieces and remnants. The collection includes numerous brown fur scraps, many featuring intact tails and paws, consistent with pine marten or fisher pelts. Also included is a larger, detached component of black fur with a dense, short pile. This black piece retains a partial blue fabric lining finished with two parallel rows of gold-colored ribbon trim. The brown fur remnants are unlined, showing the natural tanned hide on the reverse. These items are intended for salvage, craft, or restoration use.
Condition report:
These items are in salvaged as-is condition. The black fur piece features raw, unfinished edges and the lining is frayed and shows age-related wear. The brown remnants are loose scraps of varying sizes and states of preservation. All pieces exhibit signs of age and previous use as part of garments.
