Description
This lot consists of a pair of genuine Harley-Davidson spin-on oil filters featuring a chrome-plated finish. Each filter is identified by part number 63813-90. The set includes two original retail boxes and one parts identification slip. One box is styled in orange and white with a 1989 copyright date and the Harley-Davidson bar and shield logo. The second box is black with a winged shield logo for Genuine Motor Harley-Davidson Cycles Motor Parts and features a barcode. Both filters are decorated with orange decals containing the manufacturer logo and the words Oil Filter. The side panels of the packaging include detailed installation instructions and internal component diagrams labeling the metal leaf spring, perforated metal center tube, and relief valve assembly. These filters were manufactured in the U.S.A. Part number 63813-90 is generally compatible with Harley-Davidson Sportster models from late 1984 to 2020, Softail models from 1984 to the present, Dyna models from 1991 to 2017, and Touring models from 1980 to 1998. New Old Stock (NOS). The filters appear unused but show signs of age including surface dust and areas of light oxidation and pitting to the chrome finish consistent with long-term storage.
