Description
A group of two eagle-themed sculptures including one attributed to Rick Cain and one cast brass example. The first sculpture, titled Winged Fortress, is a limited edition wood resin piece by Rick Cain, designed with the texture and appearance of weathered driftwood or root wood. This piece depicts a stylized eagle head and is mounted to a polished oval wooden plinth. It retains a red oval sticker on the lower front with the printed text Winged Fortress and Limited Edition, and is hand-numbered 1484 / 5000 with an accompanying signature. The second item is a cast brass sculpture of an eagle in flight, perched on a textured rocky outcropping. The sculpture features detailed casting to the wings and tail feathers with a bright metallic finish.
Condition report:
Both items are in good overall condition with minor surface wear consistent with age. There is light dust accumulation on both pieces. The brass sculpture shows some minor spots of oxidation and tarnish in the recessed areas of the feathering. The wooden base of the Rick Cain piece has faint surface scuffs and minor nicks along the bottom edge.
