Description
This collection of vintage centerfire rifle ammunition features two original manufacturer boxes containing brass-cased cartridges. One box is produced by Norma and is labeled 6.5 JAP. and NO. 16532, containing cartridges with headstamps marked norma 6.5 jap. The second item is a Remington HI-SPEED green and red cardboard box with KLEANBORE PRIMING branding, originally intended for 30-06 180 grain soft point ammunition. The Remington box includes a white styrofoam tray holding a mixed assortment of cartridges with varying headstamps, including R-P 30-06 SPRG, W-W SUPER 30-06 SPRG, REM-UMC 30-06, and W-W 30-06 SPRG. The Norma box utilizes a cardboard grid divider for organization.
Condition report:
Both boxes exhibit visible shelf wear consistent with age, including scuffing, edge wear, creasing, and minor tearing to the end flaps. The Remington box shows some surface paper loss and fading. The brass cartridges show varying degrees of age-related tarnish and patina. The contents of the Remington box are a mixed lot and do not strictly match the original packaging specifications.
