Description
A trio of mid-20th-century pressed glass trinket or candy dishes, each molded in the form of a walking elephant with an upturned trunk and tusks. The group comprises three transparent colors: olive green, pale pink, and cobalt blue. Each item features a two-piece construction consisting of a hollow base and a removable lid that forms the upper portion of the elephant’s back. The glass exhibits molded details representing the animal’s features and skin texture. These pieces are in the style of figural glassware produced by the Indiana Glass Company. No maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on any of the items.
Condition report:
Each piece appears to be in good overall condition. Light surface scratches and internal air bubbles consistent with the pressed glass manufacturing process are present. No chips, cracks, or visible restorations noted.
