Description
This lot consists of an assortment of vintage 1992 Donruss baseball cards. The cards are part of the standard base set, identified by the distinctive blue marble-patterned borders and white card stock. The collection is organized into approximately 22 stacks and features players from a variety of Major League Baseball teams. Visible players on the face of the bundles include Mike Gallego (Athletics), Scott Aldred (Tigers), Phil Plantier (Red Sox), Dan Plesac (Brewers), Ed Sprague (Blue Jays), Dwight Smith (Cubs), Steve Decker (Giants), Dave Cochrane (Mariners), Danny Cox (Phillies), Rod Nichols (Indians), Ted Power (Reds), Tommy Gregg (Braves), Billy Ripken (Orioles), Luis Alicea (Cardinals), Mike Stanley (Rangers), Ruben Amaro (Angels), Lloyd McClendon (Pirates), Mel Rojas (Expos), Tim Leary (Yankees), Jeff Innis (Mets), Mike Huff (White Sox), Terry Shumpert (Royals), and Terry Leach (Twins). A checklist card covering player numbers 435 through 474 is also visible. All cards are in raw, ungraded condition.
Condition report:
The cards are currently stored in bundles secured by rubber bands. This storage method typically results in edge notching, corner indentations, or bowing, particularly on the top and bottom cards of each stack. Visible corners and edges show minor wear and softening consistent with bulk handling. Surface and centering appear typical for 1992 Donruss production. The lot is sold in as-is condition as a bulk collection.
