Description
A rectangular metal advertising sign featuring a white 1953 Ford F-100 pickup truck. The graphic design is modeled after period dealership sales brochures and includes the slogan They’re Here! THE GREATEST LINE OF FORD TRUCKS EVER BUILT! in the upper left and FORD F-100 alongside the Ford oval logo in the upper right. The truck’s front bumper displays the year 1953. The lower portion of the sign features the text FORD TRUCKS in large white block lettering above the phrase Product of Ford Motor Company. The sign is finished with a blue and white mottled background and includes four pre-drilled holes at the corners for mounting.
Condition report:
The sign exhibits a distressed aesthetic with simulated rust spots along the edges and corners. There are minor surface scratches and areas of oxidation consistent with age or intentional weathering.
