Description
This lot consists of a diverse collection of collectible items, tools, and metalware. The household metalware features a large, vintage fuel or oil filler can constructed of galvanized metal, characterized by a cylindrical base and a tapered pouring neck. Tools in the collection include a pair of heavy-duty slip-joint pliers and a metal open-end wrench marked MERCEDES-BENZ on the handle.
The vehicle collection includes both die-cast metal and molded plastic pieces. Highlights include a black police car with SHERIFF 701 markings, a blue race car featuring Richard Petty’s number 43 and STP livery, a red promotional truck for MUPPETS FROM SPACE, a purple car with graphics, and a green plastic tractor with large yellow wheels. Other vehicles include a small olive drab military-style jeep, a red car with a clown figure, and a yellow and white car with a seated figure.
A group of figures includes two Donald Duck figurines and one Daisy Duck figurine. The animal collection features molded plastic and rubber figures resembling various species such as a donkey, cow, sheep, pig, ostrich, turkey, goat, and waterfowl. Several of the small plastic animal figures are in the style of Kinder Surprise collectibles. Miscellaneous items in the lot include a section of green plastic picket fence and a wooden alphabet block featuring the letter W and a green leaf illustration.
Condition report:
All items are in used, played-with condition. The galvanized metal vessel and tools show significant oxidation, surface rust, and heavy patina. Die-cast vehicles exhibit varying degrees of paint loss and decal wear. The large red plastic van shows major structural damage and is missing its top components. The plastic figurines and animals show general surface wear, minor scuffs, and dirt consistent with age and use.
